So... I got a little bored yesterday and picked up my hook ( took a break from soapmaking for a bit) and came up with this headband in literally no time ( about 45 minutes and I'm a semi-slow crocheter)

back ties:

Action Shot!!! ( pardon the geeky smile, I'm just proud of it)

I used some WW yarn I had lying around with no labels or anything and a size H hook. Right after I made it my cousin took it from me Cry. She said she'd sell them at her high school. So off to make more!!!

And if anyone wants the pattern, let me know and I'll post it ( but please don't use it for selling or anything... It's my first and only pattern made entirely by myself)

thanks for looking!!!
-Tat

Edit!!! Here's the pattern:
Cutesy flower headband

4-ply WW yarn, size H/8-5.00mm hook, buttons, craft glue, yarn needle
and about 40 minutes of time ( or less, if you're quick)

Headband:

ch 110, fasten off

place a stitch marker on the 21st chain from each end, join new yarn ( same color or different) at any one of the two ends
ch 2, hdc into each ch until you get to the next stitch marker (approx.68 hdc)
sl st in the last st,sl st on the base chain ( so that the stitches cross to the other side)
ch 2, turn and hdc across the other side until you get back to the first stitch marker. join with a sl st, fasten off

flower:

with contrasting color, ch 5, join with sl st to form a ring
ch 3, (counts as first dc), 9 dc into ring, join with sl st to ch 3 to close round
(ch 5, sc in next st) 9 times, join with sl st to beginning of first ch 5, fasten off

sew the flower to the headband about 4 1/2 inches from beginning of hdc, glue beads or buttons to the center of the flower.

and you're done!!!
