So I made these for a swap, but I worked super-hard on them and wanted to show them off here, too.  They didnt come out quite as well as Id hoped, but I was working on size 6 1/2 shoes - two full sizes smaller than Im used to - so I just had a hard time making them quite as detailed and "clean" as I like them

action shot of my swap partner wearing them - on the left, its the basic H from the Hogwarts crest (there was no way I could do all the animals that teeny) and on the other one is the best version I could get of the Hufflepuff logo...

if youll believe it, these shoes started out completely lime green-they were the only correct size they had.

the backs are plain black except each one has the HP lightning bolt on them as well

hope you like!!!

i painted them with just plain acrylics, using regular old cheap brushes (I am a crafter on a budget here!!   Wink)  they are designed to hold up well; since i paint the whole shoe (if you leave some of it unpainted, they dont hold up as well) because I scotchguard them with three coats so theyre still wearable, but actually hold up REALLY well

WOW, I can't believe I hadn't run across these until now.
I'm the hugest Potter fan (though not belonging to Hufflepuff myself, hah) and anything that Potterish and that well done deserves due credit!

well thank you!  thats incredibly sweet!  maybe if I get you in the swap, Ill make some for you!   Wink Painted shoes are one of my favorite things to make for swaps cause they tend to be pretty original and you dont have to worry that people already have it lol  In fact, I just made some Mario ones that are in the most recent couple of pages of the FOC swap gallery!

Thanks again!
