I got the sides all seamed with mattress stitch, but what do I use to sew the top of the shoulders?

Same sort of idea, but a bit different:

Try that?  It might help.  I always have to look it up before i do it, i finish sweaters etc so rarely!

That's very helpful, thanks! I have never had a garment that needed real finishing before.

I finished mine. I'm not 100% happy with it but I am happy I'm done with it. Smiley

Sorry, I can't get a much better pic. Maybe I'll try to take another one tomorrow when my boyfriend is home.

I'm going to buy the yarn I need this weekend.  I'm going for Lime, which hopefully doesn't make my pudgy self look any fatter than I am! lol

I can't wait to get started!

So.... I admit it.  I've been very unfaithful to my Isabella.  Hence why it is taking so very long to finish. But I finished it last nite!  Woo hoo!

But....

I've decided to knit an extra inch or so at the bottom, which means that I will end up with another eyelet row (I'm NOT frogging!!).  But I think it will look good.

I'll post pics soon(er or later!)  Ha!  Smiley

How's everyone else doing?

Caroline:  Yours looks great!  What aren't you happy with?

So I finished my Isabella months ago and was holding out for a action shot, but alas it doesn't seem to be happening.  So here it is in all it's floor lying glory--

Close up detail:

Crappy photos, I know.  But you win some and lose some.

Overall I'm pleased with this tank, despite some minor issues.  I really like the fit (perfect!) and it was a relatively quick and interesting knit.  I'm planning on making another, perhaps in Paton's Grace, Ginger.
