I am pretty proud of myself for this one.
I used Simplicity 4072 with some alterations (shortened the sleeves to make it reasonable for spring weather and shortened the skirt for my short little legs). It took me two or three days. This is the first successful thing I've made from scratch and I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. I would appreciate any feedback you guys have.

As requested, here's a closeup of the fabric:

great job!  It fits you really well - I was trying to make out what the print is on the fabric and my brain keeps telling me "it looks like faces" (which would be cool it they were!)

The connotations wearing my nerves thin
Could it be semantics generating the mess we're in?
I understand that language breeds stereotype
But what's the explanation for the malice, for the spite?

Great dress. How long have you been sewing? I keep thinking I need to learn to sew clothes...

That is freakin cute. It reminds me of a Billabong dress that's in the current line that's like $45. WAY cuter.

That is very lovely and the fit and fabric are great! I love the black band around the underbust area.

Great dress, and it fits so well.  It should certainly be your new favorite dress.

I love the print too, reminds me of whacked out broccoli.

It looks really great!  What kind of fabric is that?
