So the beads don't stick? they just pop off the foil or pan? Where can I find instructions for this?

And I L-O-V-E That lamp shade!

Aw... thanks!!  Glad I could inspire some Christmas presents, too!

The beads don't stick at all.  Remove the pan from the oven, set it on a cooling rack and as it cools (in just a few minutes) you'll start to hear the piece snap, crackle & pop from the pan. Smiley

Yep!  Depending on what I'm making (or if you have to reuse your pan!) I'll line the pan with foil first.  If you use foil make sure it's absolutely flat & press all the wrinkles out or your piece will have wrinkles. Wink  Place the beads in whatever pattern you like and then bake.  Times & temperatures very.  I've used anywhere from 275 to 375 - it just depends how much time I have on my hands to wait for the oven.  The hotter the temperature, the more robust the stinky fumes will be because they don't have as much time to dissipate into the air.

-Open nearby windows and use fans
-Don't open the oven to peek at your piece a lot.  You'll open the oven to the stinky fumes. Lips sealed
-I would imagine it's best to keep pets & kids away from the area because of the fumes.

Every time i see ones of these i really want to make one!!! they are so cool and you could make just about anything with the beads. I have so many left over beads from when i was younger that would work.

Oh my god. This is ART.

Seriously, it's the kind of thing you could put in a pretentious modern gallery with some comment about creating beauty out of tacky plastic irony, or something.

Just amazing.
