I was able to make a big dent in mine today. I was hoping to finish today to send out tomorrow, but the latest issue of Craft showed up in the mailbox and I got a little sidetracked  Wink And, I didn't sleep well last night (I had a car appointment this morning and I think I was afraid I'd oversleep and miss it  Roll Eyes ), so I just hit the crafting wall...

If I get up early tomorrow (I'm on vacation and have a habit of sleeping the day away), I should be able to finish up.

We're down to less than a week, and two of us still have to send -- myself and mlcrays.

I'm going to wrap up in time, but it will take me my time.  I have, as usual, gone perhaps a bit overboard with the time I decided to dedicate to this swap. But there's nothing wrong with that!  I'm having fun crafting, and that's what counts.  So, I'd like to say I'll be ready to send by Friday, but it might take me the weekend depending on how successful I am at beating this cold I'm fighting.  It's one of those colds that requires *lots* of naps to keep at bay.

so... mlcrays? have you got an update to share?

Ooooh! As the recipient of said hat, I am happy to wait! I shocked my kids by taking them outside today (paper airplane tests) and tomorrow we're going out to hunt slime molds (yes, you read that correctly!). Fortunately, it was cloudy so I didn't really need a sunhat. I guarantee that the hat will get plenty of use right away!  Cheesy Cheesy

And, yarnhag, I hear you on the cold and the need for naps. I had one recently and was exhausted for 2 weeks. So, hopefully you can kick it in the butt soon! Take care!

yarnhag, I feel so sheepish. I finished last week, but I been bad about going to the post office. I think "hope" that you like your hat, I know I do.  I had a lot of fun making it.

Heavens to Betsy, CraftADDchick!  You simply CAN"T be going out hunting slime molds without a rockin' hat!  you jus't CAN'T.  I guess you'll have to, though.

I must confess, I spent last night working on a sweater for my chickie-poo...  Embarrassed

must.... complete.... the.... hat...!!!

I got distracted by my husband's knee socks in progress.  Still no work on the hat.  tonight?  I'd better.  I'm losing motivation.  I guess that means I'd better hurry up and get it done, eh?
