I have been super busy I havent had time to work on a costume.  Plus I am broke.  I am however a makeup artist and  I do light special fx.  I was going to be a "Ghoul Scout" (got the idea from here) but i have no time to work on my sash and cant find a hat.  What else can I be that doesnt involve too much?  I do great zombie makeup and have a huge closet so i am trying to combine the 2,but want to be something cooler then just a zombie in normal clothing.  help!

Also because I think I look horrible I want to glam it up a little.  Would it be stupid to be a zombie pin up girl?

really? thanks! im going to a horror convention where people take Halloween to a whole other level so I dont want to look corny.  If you can find that website please send I need clothing ideas.  I have an awesome corset I want to wear but I dont have a pencil skirt.  I usually wear everything with jeans and my style is 80's hipster girl.

i'm having the exact same problem! can the gross of the zombie be counter-acted in a sexy way?? i just don't know. my plan is - i went to a used clothing store, bought a long sleeved top and a denim mini-skirt (i think i'm going for michael jackson thriller video/80s sort of zombie) i figure i'll rip them up in an almost indecent sort of way. plus some fake eye-lashes, ripped panty-hose. arggg i just don't know how it's going to work

Impressive make up!  How cool.  I think any person could theoretically be turned into a zombie, right?:  So wear something fun.  Pin up would be fun.  And what is this convention?  I'd love to see pictures from it.

Thanks guys! I used a makeup called AquaColour.  It is a makeup that is used with water and creates a vein effect when painted on in thin lines.  I started out with a thin white base of makeup on.  Under my eyes I did red, purple and yellow.  I will post pics later tonight.  I was supposed to be a Ghoul Scout (got the idea on here!) couldnt find a hat, then I was supposed to be a pin-up zombie (had no pencil skirt to wear with my corset) and ended up being a prom queen zombie.  I saw a ton of good costumes but the funniest thing was that my best friend bought her costume (a geisha) and was getting stopped left and right.  Meanwhile it took me 4 hours of makeup (I did veins all over my arms, face and neck and added bruises and scratches) and people thought she made her costume.  Next year im either starting to sew 6 months earlier or Im buying it.
