Will crochet for coffee

I've been very busy preparing for finals, but I took some time to crochet a little last night.  It's a good de-stresser. I found this pattern, but I didn't have any crochet thread, so I made some.  I had always thought my Sinphonia looked like really thick cross-stitch thread and it occurred to me that I might be able to pull it into sections like you do cross-stitch thread. I took long pieces of my Sinphonia and unplyed it.  It is made up of 6 strands so I split it up with 2 strands per piece.

Here it is:

Sorry it's sideways.  That is a quarter next to it for a size reference.  I used a size 7 steel hook.
