So, I made this quilt for my baby boy (Due April 17th).  I had made a similar one for my daughter when she was born, and decided my son would need one too.  I used flannel scraps from my stash, plus some remnants I picked up.  The back is a plaid flannel that I had tons of (because I bought it for $1.00 a yard at one point).  It matches the nursery, which is aqua blue.

I kept it very simple, so it was a 2 evening project.

It is crib size- about 3 x 4 feet.

that's lovely, i've been wanting to try quilting (hence looking at the board for the first time Wink) but it seems like it will take AGES to make anything, now i'm inspired. your new baby will be a very lucky boy, congratulations!
