Wow, been a while since anyone's posted here, but I'm desperate for motivation!
I've got second sock syndrome...I'm plodding along on the second sock for my mom's birthday...but I'm procrastinating SO much....

I'm almost at the toe, (she really likes contrasting heels n toes...I love my mom, she's funky) It's a real motivator, not letting yourself knit anything until this one thing is done...lol

All right, I'm done the socks!!! I have no idea how to put pics from camera to computer(lol) so when I wrangle hubby into showing me, I'll show you!
I'll tell ya all about them, they're easy to picture.
size 2 US needles
yarn: patons sock wool 'paint box', ribbing
heel and toe done in bernat acrylic...its a deep blue color that matches the blue in the paint box.
They don't look especially girly, so I've started another pair in pastels...I'm a sucker for punishment, but they'll be pretty.

Grin Grin Way to go! I knew you could do it! They sound really pretty, too, with the blue heel and toe.
You're making me want to take up sock knitting again!
