I have a new obsession: crocheting bracelets with wire.  I've probably made 6 of them, but I've given a lot away to family/friends, so here's a picture of my 2 remaining bracelets:

Here's the one I always wear:

Here's the one that I haven't give away yet, but probably will in the near future. Haha.

And finally, here's a simple little bracelet that I wear pretty much all of the time.  It's made of cotton crochet thread and vintage buttons from a giant jar of buttons that I got from my great-grandmother.

Enjoy! Thanks for looking!

I use 26 gague wire for the bracelets. It's a great width because it's not too ridiculously thin that it breaks, but you can fit tiny little seed beads on it.  I bought a pack of cheapo hooks from Joannes, it had a bunch of hooks in it but I think I used a size K hook.j  I want to try it with some smaller hooks to see what the affect is.

Thanks for the compliments! Post your results if you try! It's so much fun and soothing.

I realllllllly reallllllllly love the bracelet with the beads. WOW. makes me want to try wire crocheting. Does it not kill your fingers/hooks?

Yes, the wire kills your hooks.  That's why I bought cheap plastic ones from JoAnnes.  It was a pack of 5 for like 3 dollars.

Again, thanks for the compliments. My day has been made!
