Just have a quick question, I know the swap is for paper and ephemera, but if we're really stuck for an idea can we use an embellishment instead?  And (yes I know it's actually 2 questions!)  how much longer until we find out the themes?  Cause I'm pretty excited over here!

Yes, I think embellishments will be fine! And I should be sending PMs and have the list up within an hour! Grin

Wooh!  This is going to be harder than I thought, some of you guys really put some tough ones up!  What happens if we just can't find something?  I guess then I can add something REALLY random and just say "It was my interpretation of the theme."  Grin  Also, do we mark on the backs of the paper to let the person know what themes they correspond to?  Sorry for the questions, I've just never done this type of swap before!

You can leave some of them out altogether! The scavenger hunt part just means, find what you can. Wink  Of course, you can also just include something random, too.

If you want to, you can write the theme on the back... but I'm not sure what would happen to the ink when we go to gluing the bits to something. If the theme isn't obvious for a piece of ephemera, you could attach a small post-it or write the number of the theme kind of small in a corner. If it's an ATC, maybe the theme could be incorporated into the title. Wink

Feel free to ask questions! I'm sure this would've come up for others as well. Smiley

I assume "two-fers" are okay, like newspaper with an E on it??  I had planned to keep a list of everthing I used (like the scavenger hunt swap) and send it with my envie.  Maybe we could include people's lists when we post pics.  Also do all the items have to be visible (no insane layering?? Wink) or fairly visible?

I'm loving the list (ransom letters!! Barbie!! Las Vegas!!)

Barbie was kidnapped for ransom in Vegas? What?

 Cheesy

Yes, "two-fers" are great! Three and four-fers too. Wink  If everyone keeps a list, you can send/post that in the gallery with pics. I think the themes should be fairly visible. I don't think we'd have chosen them if we didn't like 'em. Grin

Husband was all excited because he thought I was getting rid of a bunch of stuff (when he saw me making this package), then I told him I wsa getting just as much back.  His reply?  "At least I won't have to pay for it this time!"  LOL, I thought that was pretty funny!
