haha i think maybe you overstuffed it or possibly didnt use enough layer of duct tape? Because duct tape is slightly stretchy, so if you overstuff it can distort- hope that helps.

yes, i draped my first pattern as the dress for the dressform, LOL!
the dress didnt come out perfect, since as it turns out, the dressform isnt completely symmetrical...lol, but its fine. i just kinda flopped a piece of fabric over it, pinned the shoulder seams, sewed them, and then just starting pinning it onto the form making darts etc...i used muslin.

yeah yours looks good!  I made one once and it totally looked so gross I couldn't stand looking at it.  I have really shitty posture and I stood that way for the taping and oh man.  Also I used cheap tape and it fell apart almost immediately too.

I'm looking to send my Step-Sister's Choice quilt to a new home.  If you're interested in swapping for fabric/scrapbooking supplies, send me a PM.
