so i needed something to show for my senior showcase, and colleges just LOVE process. so i decided, i'm going to make a pair of shoes.
i sketched a general shape, sewed it, altered it A MILLION times, and came up with a finished piece.

then i cut it out of fur and made THESE

the seam isn't crooked, promise. it's just the top twisted around cause i pulled them up just before taking tha picture.

the sexy beasts ONNNNN

soooo awesome!
What is the bottom like? Are they actually wearable, or... -curious about shoemaking-

thanks guys!!
and lody, yes they are wearable. there is a sole made out of like 12 layers of felt and they have gingham on the bottom, cause it's all i had around, but i'm sewing suede on the bottom so i can wear them out and about.  Grin

Ooo, that's how one makes a sole? I will keep that in mind! Cheesy (I have a bit of an obsession with high, crazy boots, but... I don't like the whole almost 100$ for a pair thing Wink )
