verso: For the choker, I used Size 10 cotton crochet thread and a 2.55mm hook (that's what it's marked as, anyway). Ch 152, sc in 2nd ch from hook. 49sc, 5 hdc, 40dc, 4hdc, 50 sc. Then I did two or three sc in that last chain and repeated it working my hook between the posts of the stitches I first did. So, basically, it's 50-50-50, but you could alter it if you need the choker to be longer or shorter. I've also used this to make an "N CTRL" bracelet that had a toggle clasp, and I put the two ends of the toggle clasp on the thread before I began to crochet so I could crochet it in like beads. Works well, since I hate hand-sewing and don't trust my knots! lol.
(p.s. I want a MAC keyboard so bad!)

FineGirl: Thank you very much!

BYA: All of your ideas sound awesome, I'll have to keep them in mind since I'm getting a ton more keyboards. (I use them now for the keys and the circuit sheets inside!). I really like BYTE ME.  Cheesy F16 would be fun too! I might have to make the HELP ME one as well. Too fun, I love it! Thanks for the ideas. I've pulled a bunch more keys for more chokers, bookthongs (PG UP, PG DWN, SCRL LK, and INSERT I think are fun for book thongs), and even earrings. I'm definitely making a CTRL ALT DEL choker.  Wink

Thanks so much for all the nice comments!

I'm a regular reader of geeksugar.com, and I saw a link to your necklaces on "totally geeky or geek chic?"

I love this. I totally have some keyboards that could use some bustin', and I totally need a Ctrl Z necklace. Too bad I don't have any old mac keyboards...

Ahhh, CTRL Z! I use Photoshop all the time and I never thought of that one!

Haha, Photoshop is TOTALLY the reason I would make Ctrl Z!
Why doesn't life have a ctrl z?

Man, I wish it did. There are some things I've done that I would just love to ctrl z on! You know it's bad though when you're drawing something on paper, mess up, and try to ctrl z it.  Embarrassed *is guilty of that on many occasions*
