Dang Michigan-ers taking up the Hot New Topics!

Go OSU...rah, rah! Cheesy

haha we're a hot topic?

Well, MI IS the 8th most populous state in the US, ya know?

(shut up, I know Ohio is 7th.)

I just moved to Walled Lake (near Novi) but I could drive up to Ann Arbor or Lansing to meet up with you lovelies! I'm at a loss for suggestions since I don't know the area at all, but i think any big coffee house type of place would be great. I know you Mods met in a mall food court. And we all know Mi is not short in malls, so maybe that's an option?

I'm in GR but I think I can make it to ann arbor or Lansing and I have a couple crafty friends here who might be able to make it if we carpool.
May works best for me, and luckly my hubby is very accomidating when it comes to my crafting additction (although, if he knows there is going to any amount of cheering for OSU he may ban me from the meeting!)

Apparantly Lansing is the best place, and most fair for everyone (since it's centrally located). How about a Saturday in May? Im pretty sure the fifth doesnt work for me, but Ill have to double check.

I assume you're only considering meeting downstate (sorry if this has been addressed, I skipped the 3 pages of replies in the middle)?

yes, downstate lower penninsula. I know this kind of ruins it for any UP or upstate LP people but, really, how many people live north of mount pleasant or, to be fair, cadillac?

Im very interested. I live in Grand Rapids.  April is much busier than may as professors give all the term papers and final projects in march to be due in april. May 8 is like the last day of finals though, so mid may would be great.

What's this about a bar? I'm 21 but I dont drink so for the younger folks and the non-lushes like myself Wink Maybe we could do something different.

Lansing would be okay. And if anyone lives around GR maybe we could carpool. Crafters  are, after all, earth friendly.

I know for sure one of the malls in Lansing has a food court (don't remember if it was Meridian or Lansing Mall, as it's been close to 5 years since I've been there).
