Dangit, I was kinda hoping to have a snow day today so I could stay home and craft (and make it to the post office during their very short weekday hours), but we've had a total snow bust. At least now it will be nice and warm and not slushy for the weekend  Smiley

Anyway, I just wanted to note that I found two random 'extra' things of a crafty nature with stuff that I bought at the thrift store, which are going to be freebies along with other items - they can also go with the packages that I need to send right now, if claimed before I go to the post tomorrow morning (probably around 10 mountain time Saturday, which is noon eastern). They are listed at the bottom of my shop, with links to photographs.

Also, would there be any interest in felting needle rolls? I make them with a small fabric roll, and coffee stirers to hold the needles. I have a whole box of the stirers around somewhere....

And finally, a note about the flat felts, which seem to be fairly popular - I am making them as practice in color blending technique, usually copying a photograph. I am open to suggestions on subject matter (or actual photos) - complicated color mixes are good practice, thin detailed line elements are not going to happen as the felting process tends to smear or blend details. Absent any suggestions, it will probably be various sunsets, and maybe a few desolate-colorado-plains landscapes.

how about something ocean-y?  ocean colors would go well in my room - kind of blues, aquas, soft greens (think sea foam), tans (think suntan)

I must stop making stuff soon (or you must start claiming it!  Roll Eyes Cheesy). If you like Mickey Mouse you might want to take a look in my shop.
