I made my sister one of these designs for Christmas last year, and have been hording this Amy Butler fabric for myself until this past weekend when I finally ponied up the guts to cut into it.

I really wanted a brown corduroy, but I can't find it ANYWHERE right now, so I combed through the home decor section of Hancock's and found this leather-like material. It feels like leather... looks like leather... but it's actually a homedec-weight microsuede.

Here are the pictures:

Me like ^_^ !!!

It's about 14" wide and 8" tall. It expands to be roughly 4" deep and has an interior zippered pocket.  I kind of just wanted something I could chuck my stuff into. I'm not even concerned about security since it sits under my arm and flops shut when sitting on a table.

That is very beautiful.  I love microsuede, too.  It is easy to work with, and looks like leather.  Great job.
