A revamp of the Little Red Riding Hood story that I've written and begun illustrating. Lots more to do, gonna add a little character to the wall behind her, I'm thinking torn wallpaper and bugs or pictures. Also a shadow outside the window of the impending doom and a logo on the plastic bag for the specific grocery store it's from...

love the pic- especially the facial expression. i guess, i would think of not making the picture too busy (with everything you`re planning to add)...`cause then you pay les attention this great little girl in the corner (unless, that`s the intention..) well, i love it already and would like to see the final product!

I LOVE IT! I think, if you can keep a version as it is and also have a busy version that would be cool to see, I think more details could be really cool Smiley

Wow, so are you going to illustrate it all and then get it published? I love it so far, totally looks like a book I would buy for my future children!

I love fairy tales, and alternate versions of fairy tales Smiley

That's the plan! We'll see how it goes. I'm actually working on a different book than this, which I want to try to get published. I just keep getting distracted by this one. lol.

lol. I don't think it'll get too busy. All the changes I'm making, though they sound drastic will, I dare say, be very subtle. At least that's the plan. Thanks for the tips! I will keep what you said in mind while I work, so I don't get carried away.

Stunning work!!! And all your ideas for finishing the painting are great. Especially the grocery bag logo. I think that adding that wallpaper will be beneficial for the background, since the wall takes up a decent portion of the composition.
