Here is another piece for my upcoming show.  Chained Bear.  It is both sweet and sinister.  I embroidered the art/Bear then appliqued that panel onto the printed fabric.

Awesome. Never knew embroidery could be so cool. No offense to those who embroider, I'm just not well versed in the medium.

Bad Bird, you're killing me, you really are.  Can't you give us a break and show us something that's just good instead of always making things that are TOTALLY AMAZING?

When I die I give you permission to look under my bed and look through all the tons of crap I've made and hid from the world.
Out of every ten there will be one good piece.

That's beautiful! The bear looks like it could be an illustration from an old, slightly sinister children's book. And I love the way you paired it with the fabric.

I found this great fabric store in Moro Bay, CA.  I think it is called the Cotton Ball.  They are big time on novelty fabric, especially vintage type prints.  I also bought a little red riding hood print that I'm trying to find a use for.
