Chained Bear

Here is another piece for my upcoming show. Chained Bear. It is both sweet and sinister. I embroidered the art/Bear then appliqued that panel onto the printed fabric.

That's beautiful! The bear looks like it could be an illustration from an old, slightly sinister children's book. And I love the way you paired it with the fabric.

I found this great fabric store in Moro Bay, CA. I think it is called the Cotton Ball. They are big time on novelty fabric, especially vintage type prints. I also bought a little red riding hood print that I'm trying to find a use for.
