This is for my friend's brand-spankin'-new baby, Cedar.  I got the pattern from Knitty, and it's called Trellis.  I haven't put buttons on it yet, but I still think it's pretty cute!

Thanks for all the comments.  I've actually added buttons, and it's so much cuter!  As for the yarn, I used Soho Summer Jo Sharp DK Cotton.  I wouldn't recommend it.  It is INCREDIBLY splitty!!  Quite frustrating to work with.  I would probably make it in a nice DK weight superwash wool if I were to do it over again.
