Today I have been constructing a bag that I'm going to send away in a Swedish swap. I used some fabrics I had available at home so they aren't the most fun perhaps. But I think it turned out quite nice in it's simplicity.

Here it is, notice the pocket that is created between the fabric were they cross each other.

It's reversible

I tried to see how it would look with some embroidery on by manipulate it in the computer.

Here is some other manipulated pictures (very fast done so don't mind the non existing quality). For the upcoming swap I think i will try to find fabric that's look something like this.

Please tell me what you think!
Thanks for looking!

this is really neat. i don't think i've ever seen a purse like this before. perhaps, using multiple fabrics for these bags would increase their value to your potential buyers Smiley just a thought. i like all of these though.

Cool Way cool.  I think I have seen a similar bag before called a triangle bag, but the seam placements were a little different.  I love that it is reversible!  Does it have a pocket?  And, too cool with the computer re-design with different fabrics.  What program do you use?  As always, great design and construction!!!!!! Yes i forgot to mention that, when sewn together there "automatically" is created two pockets were the fabrics cross each other, very practical indeed.
I use PhotoShop CS2, just a simple cut and copy work and some burntool.
