Here are the pictures I promised.

There is two packs of iron on transfers, these are great because my collection is so sparse that I often have to draw my own designs if I want to personalize with embroidery.  I like drawing my own too, but sometimes I'd like to go with a genuinely vintage design instead.
There is more of the knitterly stationery I loved last time, you really can't have too much stationery can you?
There is ric-rack for me to begin to build a stash around.  You never do now when you will need a little splash of happy zig-zag colour.   Cheesy
RM wrote me on a lovely little card featuring a frog and a gnome, I do love green frogs.  It was so cute it deserved to be in the picture too.
Lastly, THE yarn!  There it is, it is just glorious.  I will spare you all the singing this time though.

At this point, To The Extreme has a life as a tea cosy ahead of it.  I have a nice mission brown in my stash that matches the brown in this yarn perfectly and I'll use it to make a thick woolly doily of sorts to rest under my brown teapot while it is wearing its extreme cozy.  At this point I don't actually own a tea cozy yet, even though I have been busily collection up a crazy tea set.  Bad girl!   Grin

Hee-hee.  I've been saving that gnome card for about a year now.  Just waiting for the perfect swap package!  I got it in a bag of old (1980's and older) cards from a thrift shop.

One warning on that mint rickrack...it's difficult to sew through it with the sewing machine for some reason, more so than any other I have used, so you might want to hand-tack it like I do.  (There are several ways to hand-tack rickrack on-line.)

Can't wait to see the tea cozy!!!

I received! I received! *jumps up and down*

My beauteous partner tenrec sent me:
- a gorgeous skein of 2-ply turquoise-with-lavender merino
- a fun skein of bright red merino plied with a metallic thread (I named it "Santa Pants")
- and a massive collection of Kool-Aid so I can play with dyeing!

I hope you took a pic to share the pretties with everyone! If not I will squeeze them into my scanner tonight.

I just realized that I never posted the pictures of the yarns that I sent to BlooCanoe!  They're all 100% merino that I handdyed.
Here they are:

I wasn't very happy with this dye job to be honest - I was going for a much more saturated turquoise, and with more contrast between the turquoise and purple parts.  I don't think you can even see much purple from this photo.  But I went ahead and spun it up and plyed it, and I thought the resulting yarn wasn't too bad Smiley  There's about 150 yds there.

And this is "Santa's Pants!"  (I love that name Bloo!!!)

Here's a closeup:

It's handdyed merino plyed with a red metallic thread.  I wish there was more of it - it's only about 68 yds, but that's all of the red merino that I had.

I can't wait to see what you make with it, BlooCanoe!

I couldn't help it, I stayed up late last night, I have half finished my extreme tea cozy already.  It was just supposed to be half an hour to swatch  Wink oh well.

I love Santa's pants, very cool work Tenrec.

I see purple!  And I see lovely yarn, too Wink

I've received! Grin

I got a wonderful package from Nikkisixx666 today, the day after my birthday so it was perfect timing Wink
I've finally bought a camera, but I haven't got rechargeable batteries so of course I can't take pictures right now.. Embarrassed But I received the coolest painting which fits the walls in our living room perfectly. A knitted bag in bamboo yarn (so soft!) which is the perfect size for my 'smaller things I don't want to keep in my backpack', and my old bag for those things just broke. I think someone reads my mind here.. AND I got the cutest stitch markers, black and green leaves!

Thank you so much!  Cheesy

Since Vildhavre's camera isn't working, here are  pictures of what I sent to her.

Everything together:

Painting - mixed media on canvas

Glass bead stitch markers

Bamboo yarn purse

I loved this swap - everyone's stuff is so awesome!
