Thanks Everyone!  I honestly have no clue how bad it is yet.  But I am thinking not good since DH's voice was quivering when he was talking about it.  We JUST finished remodeling the house after moving in...great timing  Roll Eyes

groschveux - that hat is awesome!  Love it!

yellowblanket - honestly I think so - I did not try them on him before we left we were running out of time as you can imagine I am sure Smiley

"Well bless my stars and garters!!!"  Miss_Vicki???  Are you okay, girl???  I think you may need to get to a doctor and have your brain checked!  Like the part that is supposed to judge how much to reciprocate in a swap, for instance!!!  It's just not working right!  Hahahahahaa!

If you haven't figured it out, I got MORE stuff from Miss_Vicki today!  An adorable necklace and ANOTHER fantastic apron!  (Actually, two of her aprons arrived...one for this swap and one from the Worth Your While Apron Swap.)

I can't wait to take photos!!!  But I'll have to do it tomorrow, because I have to iron them all pretty-like and get myself all cleaned up!  (Been cleaning all day and I look horid!)

EEeeek!  Can't wait to show you!  First thing tomorrow...I promise!

I'm gonna mail myself to Miss_Vicki and tell her that I'm her long-lost sister!!!  Har-har!

 Kiss

Actually RM, I have an appointment to see a doctor just before lunch today (my allergies are giving me a nasty time still), so I'll be sure to mention it to him.   Wink  I guess yarn is fairly precious to me, and hand-spun is about as special as it gets.  The two aprons I made you for this swap were quick and easy ones, filler if you will.  They lack the craftsmanship that went into the apron swap one.  The carrot and donuts were the main items here.

Oh and, the little packet of beads I sent are just beads, they are not properly strung as far as I am aware.  But they have little kangaroos painted on 'em and I couldn't resist that.   Grin

Yes...the kangaroos are adorable!!!  They're going to be made into a special piece of jewelry, for sure!!!!

Sorry for you having to go to the Dr. for real!!!  My allergies have been horrible this past week!!!

Still...this swap was amazing for me!!!

Many thanks,
RM

I've finally got photos of all the great things that BlooCanoe sent me!  For bigger versions of any of them, click on the photo - it will take you to other sizes.

And here we go:

All the loot!
Bloo is a fabulous knitter, and it was great to get some knitted things!

A knit and felted tote with buttons!

I'm a knitter myself, but it seems like I'm always giving my things away, and I don't make a lot of little things, so this was perfect!  I needed a pair of mitts for my cold office, and I love the Fetching pattern (from knitty.com)

I also got some marbled notecards (to use as-is or add embellishments), a pincushion, and some great Canadian candy!

Thanks Bloo!!!  I love it all!  Smiley

Oooo!  Cool stuff, tenrec!   Hey Bloo...did you do the shaving cream marbling?  It looks like it in the photo.  I've always wanted to try that!  Just curious!

Great job on it all!!!!  Mmmmmm...wish I had some Canadian candy right now!!!   Grin

Oh, yay!  Here is my OTHER apron and some cool kangaroo beads from Miss_Vicki!  (Yes...besides the crocheted hostess apron and the crocheted stuffies for my children!!!)

I am totally using this one all the time!  It's perfect for my PMS apron, too because I can wear it up under my bust and my 'poochiness and bloating' will still be well covered!!!  Haahahahah!  I needed this one today, let me tell you!!!   Tongue

I love how the pockets extend past the hemline...is that an original idea of yours, Miss_Vicki???

She really does excellent work!  Check out the cute crafty fabric!

Here are the beads!  Too cute!

You can see the spinning apron that she made for me in another swap here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=162136.0

Thanks again, Miss_Vicki!  You should be really proud of all your hard work!!!

Hee hee. All of my drop spindles have teeth marks. Mine. Sometimes, I just need an extra "hand".

I like making stuff. Rumor has it, I'm an elf. Like a Santa Elf, not one of those elegant LOTR types.  Mostly because I compulsively craft and partially because I have green shoes.
