The original post is from quite a while ago by the looks of it so maybe its not running anymore, or like you say maybe they have changed thedomain name. It did look an interesting concept though, so it seems a shame...

I am so glad you mutinied, I had a UK Craft Mafia and got so sick of a bunch of chicks in the States trying to boss us around that I just dissolved it. I decided to build the craft mafia with the blessing of the Austin ladies before they got all trade markey and hectic about the whole thing. You can't encourage people to have a mafia and then make them walk the line with snotty e-mails. I also didn't like the inorganic nature of things so well done!!!!!! I wish I had a weekend home in DC then I could join you...I will be with you in spirit (and web links pages hee hee).

Agree with above. It would be nice to see the UK represented. Although, I'm not being funny, I hope noone takes this the wrong way or gets offended, but what is it about (some)  'crafty' people that they get all fascist and pompous and sort of spoil the fun. There's a couple of embroidery groups that scared me right off cos  my face didn't fit or something!
