My First Project-Birdy Pillow with 4 pics!

This is my first full on did-it-myself project! Yeah! I came up with the design on my own. The bird, branch and background are all super soft fleece (the type used for baby blankets) the leaves are a cotton paisley print that I used embroidery floss over as the veins to give them texture. I attached the branches and bird, which I freehanded with embroidery floss in the same color to give it more interest.
I originally made this as a cat pillow but I think I filled it with way to much stuffing because he'd have to climb up on it! So I'm deciding if I want to use it a pillow for the couch or take some stuffing out for the kitty.
Aside from the uneven circle, nevermind the lumps on the sides, what do you think?

The color in the first picture looks good to me (pretty blue, I mean) and I like the design.  I'd be happy to put it on my couch, but my kitties would love it too!

Since it seems cat toys are so expensive for what seems so easy I thought "hey I can do that!" so here's my first attempt at making a cat toy for our cat Morgan. He must like it because it's now missing, meaning it's probably lodged under the couch where his other "favorites" get batted to. Sorry for the grainy weird colored pics again, I'm using my cell phone until I get a camera for my birthday (crossing fingers and hoping my family picks up on my not-so-subtle hints!)

This is the kitty bed that I made (and posted in the wrong area before) that he snuggles on, other beds are just icky looking so this was hip

The strawberry is gorgeous. Did you use a pattern? It would make a lovely pincushion.

Yeah I was thinking that about the pincushion, maybe i'll try that next. I didn't use a pattern, just freehanded it with felt and used embroidery thread as the "seeds" and stuffed it with stuffing and cat nip.
 I'm glad you like it! I hope the kitty dreams of birds he watches them out the window, then maybe he sleeps on his bed and "catches" them!

I love both! The cat bed is so cute, I would probably put it on my bed as a pillow rather than give it to my cat
