I'm moving to a house which has 3 Velux windows (windows in the roof of loft conversions which are angled, just in case that's not what they're called in other places!  Smiley)

Anyway, the manufacturer makes blinds that you can buy for them, but the windows are pretty small, and the least expensive blind option costs about 70 each Shocked which is way more than I want to spend.

I made all of the curtains and blinds for the last 3 places we've lived, so I do have some basic skills, but I've never seen home made velux blinds before.

Has anyone here made any/seen any/have any great ideas??!!

I don't know anything about making blinds but I have seen the angled windows done with two tension rods threaded through the top and bottom hems of a curtain sewn to fit inside the window.
