Hey, I'm in the same costume-less boat!  Thought I might make a 60's-type dress with sewn-together Tyvek envelopes and hope it doesn't rain.  I'll probably go as an alien trying to pass as a human.  (In other words, I won't get anything finished!!!)  Wah!

I'm going to be an Edward Gorey character. I bought a vintage dress and took it in! I'll take pictures and post them soon, it's so cute!

I have 2 costumes (well...i will) My mother is making them (i'm still scared of the sewing machine...everythin g i've made i've done badly by hand) the 1st one is either a fire faery or an evil faery...how ever you look at it. and the other is a porcelain doll. I got a pattern from Simplicity if that doesnt work heres the link http://simplicity.com/assets/8851/8851t.jpg.
We're going to make it a little bit longer, it's gonna be black w/ a white pettycoat & jst a simple white ribbon around the waist. basically it'll be in the lolita style. i hope everything turns out good!!! *crosses fingers*  Undecided

I still have no idea what I'm going to be. I was thinking of being a Piece of Gum Stuck To The Bottom Of Your Shoe--which means getting dressed in all pink and tying a shoe to my head--but I ran out of time to look for cute pink clothes. I may just strap on a pair of fairy wings for my friend's costume party. Sad How unimaginative.
I will be creating a 'costume for my boyfriend tomorrow, though. I'm thinking of going to the thriftstore, buying the button-down type of shirt he likes to wear and sewing felt spikes (think: triangles) down the back. He'll be a Jasonosaurus!  Cheesy I figure Jasonosauruses (Jasonosaurii?) would be plant-eaters, so I'm going to make a felt carrot and felt celery to keep in the shirts pocket. Hopefully, if all goes well, I'll post pictures!

I was supossed to be a bat, but my wings didn't arrive on time.
So i've been forced to make my own costume -  i'm now a butterfly.

lol!  I love your Jasonosaurus idea.  Definitely original!
My costume is kinda boring this yea; I'm a mad scientist.  I was looking at my labcoat and it was just asking to be a Halloween costume.  So labcoat, dress shirt and tie, dress pants, messed up grey wig and I'm going to put black paint on my face around my safety goggles(as if something exploded)
