My package was wrapped in some great vintage looking paper which I have already partially recycled with some paper punches!

Here is my haul!  I am so excited! Marlie included a nice little note.

Lovely teacup candles which I intend to break in tonight with a nice bubble bath after the girls are asleep...

Cute fancied up tote bag which is going to be perfect storing my girls toys in in the car.

Nicely packaged note cards and decorated boxes...

To my suprise and delight, I found it was 3 decorated boxes nested in each other.  Will be used in my craft room to store various goodies.

And some fancy notecards so I can let my friends know how much I appreciate them.

Thank you so much Marlie!  This was a great introduction to swapping for me, I'm officially hooked I do believe! lol...  And thank you for organizing such a fun swap, it was a cool theme.  Hope there is a round 2...

I'm so glad it got to you safely and that you liked it mclianne! I'd really love doing a round two sometime!

I must confess though, Martha must have been hitting the sauce when she came up with "A Brand New Bag." Sewing pockets on an already-made canvas bag seemed so simple in my head. I must have broken approximately 239867389459847698 needles in practice though. Although I am still new to sewing... I'm probably doing something horribly wrong. But it's like nasty_wench said, most of us had issues with at least one of our Good Things.

I'm so happy you all were on board with this swap. Everyone's packages so far have been so great. It turned out so well. This swap is a GOOD THING (ha, couldn't resist)!

Can't wait to see what brushfirefaeries package is like!

Well, my package should arrive any day now. As mommys little badass reported on the original swap thread, canada post finally shipped it out! That is some CAREFUL customs. Wink

As soon as I get it, I'll let you all know! And for time purposes, maybe mommys little badass can post pictures when I receive? Then whenever I have a chance I'll post my own.

This was a great swap. We should definitely do it again! Anyone interested?

I love love love the cards you received mclianne! I know some other people received those in this swap, too. I may be making them and the teacup candles for my mom for her bday (or mothers day). Great ideas.

Thanks catsprefermarlie!

Hey don't blame your friendly customs agents! Wink

I'd be up for a round 2.

Nope, no sign yet. Sad It's been three weeks today since you went to the post office, but only eight days since the post office actually sent it out. So, I figure, if you paid for 7-10 day delivery, perhaps that's from when it was SENT. So maybe a few more days?

Don't give up hope! Smiley
