There is something just incredibly satisfying about walking out of your LYS with an entire bag of yarn. Like unopened, straight from the factory.  It's like "man, I'm really going to do something with this!"

I'm making the hubby a sweater out of Laines Du Nord Dolly Maxi (LOVELY if you ever need a good merino aran). Now I'm sitting here squishing the entire unopened bag and feeling oddly self-important. I'm usually pretty thrifty, but I feel downright decadent today! Just wanted to share Smiley

Yay to you for treating yourself!!!!!  Decadent is good! I love leaving with all kinds of goodies I can't wait to use.  It can be a great pick me up.  Today on my way home, I am headed to pick up yarn for a friend who asked for a scarf.  He moved back east and is cold.  I can't tell you the satisfaction I feel being asked to make something.

Plus, Mr, Boo is thrilled b/c I a, no longer insisting he needs a scarf to brave the harsh Arizona winter!

I miss cold winters and snow.  Oddly enough, I love the cold but Mr. Boo is the opposite and now we live here.  I mist confess it grows on you b/c there is very little you can't get here.

So you feel free to be jeaous b/c I am jealous of you!

And I didn't make it to the my LYS today.  So I am not satisfied!
