I have no idea what even motivated me to make these - I suppose I could call it divine intervention if I wanted to...LOL

I made a couple prayer chaplets (similar to a rosary, but usually dedicated to a specific saint or religious icon; mostly used by Catholics) for my family and a friend of mine...Both are made using Swarovski crystals and sterling silver findings.

This is a St. Gerard chaplet. He is the patron saint of expectant mothers and those wishing to conceive...my friend has been married for three years and has had a lot of difficulties getting preggers. I made this in hopes it can give her a little hope and peace of mind. Medal is of St. Gerard, and reads "Pray for us" on the back.

This is a Peace Chaplet. It is a grouping of 21 beads (seven groups of three), a patar bead (the large crystal) and a medal of Our Lady of Medugorje, and reads "Regina pacis, ora pro nobis" (Queen of Peace, pray for us) on the back. I made it for my grandmother in her favorite color - blue.

Those are so beautiful...I know your Grandmother will love them so much!  Makes me wish my Grandma was still here, so I could make one for her.  Really, I'm in awe!

Our local diocese had a store/chapel at a mall where they used to give this stuff away...alas, the mall needed the space so they moved out.
