Very interesting. I almost got you that pear fabric too, Edel, and put it back at the last minute.

I had a thought, and I don't know  how anyone feels about it, but I thought I would share and you all can boo or cheer as you see fit.

I was thinking; what if this became an ongoing swap. Every month would be a new swap. I was thinking every other month we could swap fat quarters, and everyother month (opposite months) we could swap half yards. Then if you are too busy to do a fabric swap one month, you could sit out. Or if you were bummed because you didn't get in on the fat quarter one you wouldn't have to worry because another was coming in a little over a month.

It would go something like this
April- Fat Quarters
May- Half Yards
June- Fat quarters
July- Half Yards
Etc...

Does this make sense? Is there enough interest in doing something like this. I am truly a fabric junkie and I love seeing what other people pick out for me. Some of my favorite fabrics of all times have been ones from these swaps.

Thoughts? feelings? Criticisms?

Ah, posted too soon because I just checked the mail to find my swap package from Flasheyashley!

Taking it out of the envelope, it was beautifully wrapped!!! The ribbon is a beautiful touch to the pinks and whites of the fabric!
Not only with the fabric, I got a small note and a pin ^^ hehe Quite fantastic, because pins are love!

Here's a close up of the fabric!
1/2 yards: White with tiny tiny pink dots, a FANTASTIC mod-ish pinks fabric (I LOVE this!!!)
FQs: pinks and white stipes, red with tiny white hearts, and a really nice black and white patterned fabric Cheesy

Thank you sooooo much, Flasheyashley! I can't wait to start making some doll clothes from this fabric Grin
