woo hoo I received from Bailliesbagsbaubles today! Not only did she send the 2 FQ's and 2 1/2 yds, she also sent little squares and scraps for my daughters birthday quilt I'm trying to make! Plus a Lindt chocolate bunny and gummy bunnies from Germany! The kids love the everything on the package is in German lol!

Here is everything! On the right side is 1/2 yd of Cinderella and Spiderman, and FQ's of a very pretty purple with little roses, and patchwork. Everything towards the left is the extras she sent!

Thank you for everything!!

I got my package from StarLisa today, woohoo!

The 1/2 yards are sweet little daisy duck cloth and black with pink polka dots [which will be used tonight I'm sure]
She also sent 3 FQ's: light pink with silver glitter stars, shimmery purple with pretty cherry blossom-y branches and my favorite, dancing skeletons.

I love it all, thanks so much StarLisa! You totally nailed what I needed Smiley

I received from Ezri_B last Thursday, but I'm just now getting the pics uploaded. She sent some wonderful fabric!

The two on the bottom are half yards, and the two on top are fat quarters. I love them so much! The apple and pear fabric makes me smile every time I see it! Thanks so much, Ezri_B!

I had a thought, and I don't know  how anyone feels about it, but I thought I would share and you all can boo or cheer as you see fit.

I was thinking; what if this became an ongoing swap. Every month would be a new swap. I was thinking every other month we could swap fat quarters, and everyother month (opposite months) we could swap half yards. Then if you are too busy to do a fabric swap one month, you could sit out. Or if you were bummed because you didn't get in on the fat quarter one you wouldn't have to worry because another was coming in a little over a month.

It would go something like this
April- Fat Quarters
May- Half Yards
June- Fat quarters
July- Half Yards
Etc...

Does this make sense? Is there enough interest in doing something like this. I am truly a fabric junkie and I love seeing what other people pick out for me. Some of my favorite fabrics of all times have been ones from these swaps.

Thoughts? feelings? Criticisms?

I have received some beautiful fabrics, but have been having "new camera" problems. (Like, I can't figure out how to take a picture, I can't figure out how to put them on my computer, I lost the manual the first day, etc...)

So I think I figured it out how to get them on the computer, but they're still not great pictures.

These I got from Edel. Aren't they lovely. I have the pink plaid one in something already that I am working on. And the red one with flowers has been claimed by one of my nieces for a hat. Thank you edel!!

These lovelies I got from folara. I had a really hard time photographing them. They are much more beautiful in person! There are pastel polka dots, sushi, bobby  pins, and cursive learning handwritting (probably my favorite if I had to pick one.) Thank you folara!!

Now, I know there have been questions about another round. I have a lot on my plate right now, and have no problems letting someone else take the reins for awhile. Otherwise I'll have to wait until probably the last week in May before I can do another one. So whichever works for everyone else is fine with me.

I have finally got my camera charged photos taken and stuff made so catching up with posting pix, here is some of the FABULOUS fabric that GatsbyGirl sent me (sorry its a bit mixed up with other fabric) but you can see the fabulousness.

I love the geisha fabric and the roses one, I took both of them out yesterday but couldnt decide what fabric to use or what to match them with so I made these bags instead
and to make up for my slackness in posting pix, here are some more, of some bags (or to translate....purses!) I made from some of the fabric from this swap..

this is a largish bag that will take lots of stuff, I adore this pin-up fabric and love this bag

This is a pretty little one from more fabulous fabric

thank you so much GatsbyGirl and Ezri-B
