I found this book at my local Salvation Army Thrift Store for a quarter!
It took me ages, but I scanned each and every page.

Click the photo to go to the web page with the scans.  Smiley

{EDIT-- Working to transfer photos to another page because I went over my bandwith limit. If the web page is not working, go to this URL:  http://s163.photobucket.com/albums/t312/gatsbysgreenlight/ }

I don't remember Sears having yarn but I remember them having a sewing department and I remember J. C. Penney's giving knitting lessons for a price and you had to buy your yarn there. Folks couldn't afford it but I had friends that took lessons.

I'm a youngin so I don't know much about sears yarn but I bought some acrylic vintage sears yarn off ebay last year it seriously feels like cashamere I was absolutely shocked when I got it  in the mail. It's probably some of the best acylic yarn I've ever had.
