I was wondering what size the matchboxes should be, in the first post you say it has to hold 30-40 matches, that would be I think the smallest available matchbox.  but the templates are bigger than that aren't they? help me out here?

I think you may be confused, 30 - 40 WOODEN matches. I have a tiny matchbox on my fridge, it only holds 20 matches, I took them out and counted.

The template that is 4 to a page is the size of the two boxes I received. 1.25 x 2 x 3/8 inches

The template that is 2 inner boxes and two covers is the larger size, and that is the one I sent in the first swap.  1.75 x 2 x 1.5 inches

The one that is 4 to a page can be made out of 2 index cards, 3"x5".

Hope this helps!

Mostly it is just cutting. I use a glue stick on the inside of the flaps, put the first set of flaps in, then glue stick the next set of flaps.

Printing, cutting, and gluing all three matchboxes the largest size took me only half an hour.

then I had fun decorating. I also like printing them out and cutting them out, because I can do hand drawing and stamping without fighting them.

but yes, please, if you just want to buy them ready made, go right ahead!

I'm so tempted by this but I'd end up with kind of a short crafting period as I'm away from civilisation on the 6th of April to the 9th, so  think I'd feel a little rushed. Especially as I have to plan my trip and do sewing for that at the same time.  Sad

I might just have to wait until round 3.

Yes I do Personal swaps though you might have to ask me really nicely as I don't have huge swathes of time on my hands Smiley However I love crafting for other people.
