Here is a little needle-felted husky I made for a friend who has four huskies.

It has a lump of foam inside in order to waste less wool.

I actually chickened out of giving it to my friend, it seemed like such a random gift for someone I don't really know very well. Plus, it didn't really work out the way I'd visualised it. I should have gone more the "cutie" route instead of going for "semi-realistic". Now it's neither. I always make this mistake!

She'll love it, trust me... The fact that you took the time to make something especially for that friend is gonna make him/her feel really special.

You should give it to the person. Random gifts are great. And the husky is wonderfully done.  Very cute, the person will love it I'm sure.

Looks good to me.  Nice colors, regal bearing - just like a live husky.

That is so awesome - you have to give it to somebody!

And if you ever have a beagle that you make and don't know who to give it to, I promise I'd love him and give him a good home!  Grin

what a great huskydog!  Smiley

I know how you feel tho evaberry,
sometimes I look at a piece of art I've worked on fer' hours and everything about it looks like crap.  Cheesy lol
I have to walk away from it and re-visit when I've had a chance to forget it for awhile...fresh eyes..

one day you'll come back to this post and look at this great piece and say,
" haha, yea! that's a great lookin' pup!"

and YOU made it!  Grin

Well said lexis - that's so true

Usually your biggest critic is yourself
When people create something, you only see it's faults or how it didn't go as expected.
When you have fresh eyes, you notice what's great about it.

And I think you used good colours for the husky and blended the colours well.  Smiley
Go on, give it to your friend
