Topic: First roving dyed with acid dyes!  (Read 1214 times)

I finally got to dye up some rovings using my acid dye kit from www.helloyarn.com and I think they turned out pretty good.  I cannot wait to spin them up!

This one is 2oz of merino, called American Beauty

This one is 2oz of South African Fine, called Chaos Theory

And this one is 4oz of mill ends from TSS, called Grapevine

I have used Wilton dyes and the colors were okay, but these dyes just work so much better and seem to affect the roving better as well.  I can't wait to order more colors and dye a bunch more up!!!  Thanks for looking!

i like em all, but I agree, Grapevine is my favorite too Cheesy Can't wait to see them spun up :]

I think Chaos Theory will be gorgeous once it's spun.  The variation of colors will add cool depth.
