I used pencil on Bainbridge illustration board, cold press. (I prefer cold press because it has a textured surface that I feel grabs the paint better than the smooth hot press.) For paint I use a variety of brands, but mostly I have Golden Acrylics with a few Winsor Newton thrown in. Smiley

Very cool illustration. Cheesy Somehow the expression reminds me of Chicken Little. ^^; For some odd reason.

I like the brush-stroke-y style and the car, actually. The car looks so well done. Smiley

I'm currently trying to work on a children's book that I've written, hopefully  it'll be ready to pitch to publishers soon, but it takes so long to do a mock-up for a book (a dummy book.)

I would like to post the poem, but I'm always wary of putting my wrtten work on the internet, as it's so easy to steal and so hard to prove it's yours. At least with the art I have the original painting to prove it's my own work. I doubt anyone would try to steal my poem, but I'd prefer to err on the side of caution. Sorry, and thanks for the interest.
