For the first time ever, I'm making/hosting Easter dinner for my family this year! I've been seeing these egg wreaths everywhere and decided to try and make one to use as a centerpiece for the table.

Just hot glued plastic eggs to a styrofoam wreath form. I used mostly plain pastel eggs, and put some iridescent ones here and there. Cut a small feather boa into short lengths and tucked the pieces between the eggs where the styrofoam showed through.

The sides are not great because the eggs don't go all the way to the edges, but I think I'll put some of that plastic easter grass around it when it's on the table so no one will notice.

Pictured with my pug so you can see the scale of the wreath  Cheesy

So cute! You could take the boa and put it around the bottom to cover the spaces..if you have boa left.

Cute idea!  I may have to do this with my 5-year-old.  We made a "nature wreath" together in December that really needs to come down from our front door now...

It's got a nice look. And using your pug to show the scale of the object totally had me cracking up. I suppose we should refer to it as "Pugometrics." Smiley

That is so cute!   I love the feathers sticking out,  It's probably a good thing your feathers weren't yellow, cuz then it would look like you stuck chicks in there   LOL    Cheesy

i have tons of plastic eggs laying around my house (my cat likes to play with them).  I even have a few clear ones that look like jewels, I might put something in them...
