i've been meaning to comment on this post for ageees, but i think that is one of the cutest ideas i've ever seen! how cool that you could change the snap for each outfit (not that i'm the co-ordinating type) but i especially love the roaches <3 they made my day
thanks for posting - i hope you don't mind if i try this...i've got some shoes that desperately need adorning with purple spider snaps! (^_^)

as i previously mentioned, my school shoes REALLY needed some drastic help because i cant afford new ones right now, and they were little black shoes with a kitten heel and a little bow in the middlle but that fell off and they looked u-g-l-y!!! so thanks so much TheWrongGirl!
check out mine!  they have army men:

Vodka Ice bottle caps:

Gouhls:

sorry about my mingy rug by the way!!
i made lots though! thanks so much! I have now for my shoes, pink ribbon bows, various grey and white and green buttons, bats, donimos, die, pencil sharpeners, a cross (just the one for class!)  and more! check em out! Smiley

but even still i think they look ok with nothing just half of the black popper Smiley id like to make (sanded and buffed) razor blade ones, but i dont know where you buy razor blades from! any help?

but yeah! thanks so much!!! if my head of year or school or even worse, the deputy *shivers* sees these she can tell me off but then theyll be popped off and shell have to grovel for telling me off when "her eyes must have been decieving her"!!!! Cheesy

haha, the army men are awesome, although, I'd be afraid that they would fall off really easily if they were bumped, unless your snap is HECKA strong.....but good work, I like.

Cool! I have an old pair of black shoes that are so boring I can't bear to wear them anymore! I want to do this so bad! What kind of glue did you use to put the snaps on though? I imagine it must be some sorta of heavy duty glue to keep them on right?

i finally got around to trying, but *sigh* it didn't work
i used plastic sew on snaps and glued the "male" part on the shoe
when i glued the "female" part on the button, it wouldn't go in cause the button closed up the hole.
am i making sense?
should i just switch and put the flat snap half on the shoe?
help please?

What a totally neat way to snazz up your shoes! Way cooler than those clip on bows that people used to put on their shoes in the 80'S!  Shocked
ah ha! I remember those, they were cool ok?! I was cool! but yes, this is way cooler.
