I found this wild pattern and decided I had to make it!  I hadn't made socks or really done fair isle before, but my swap partner requested socks and we both loved these.  

Here is the finished product


And a close up of the trees


I love how they turned out!  They're a bit tough to pull on, sadly.

Those are frickin' spectacular!  Where the heck did you find all the varieties of colors in sock yarn?  What kind did you use?  Did you use the suggested yarn?  How long did it take you?  SPILL!

You've done it! You've created something new in socks that no one else is doing!  Just when I was starting to get bored with the lace, the cables, the self-striping yarn... This is awesome! (roommate doesn't understand why I'm getting all riled up over socks. but for real, I love these!)
