I love this to death. It's soo cute. I got the fabric for next to nothing at the thrift store ($5 USD for 13 yards!) because it was too awesome to resist. In biology, we are learning about evolution, so I wore it to school, which was fun because i'm one of those jeans-shirt-hair-in-scary-knot-everysingleday people.. This would be my only dress that I'm not ashamed of wearing in public (lol, we know how that goes); my third dress made.

Haha, everybody wants to color it in. I won't lie--I do too  Grin

Anyway, onto the pictures..

This is it:

In action, yo! (My face looks like it's melting off..):

The really cute bow:

Some hardcore emo pose (that's my sister in the picture frame. If you were wondering):

Thanks,

Tell me what you think!

Very very cute!  (Although I wouldn't have been allowed to wear that at school  Shocked)  ... did you use a pattern, or design it on your own?

That is quite possibly one of the most fantastic dresses I've ever seen. I love the combination of dinosaurs and a girly dress. And congrats on the awesome thrift store find.  Grin

the dress is totally freaking adorable! i want to steal it from you. i love how it is black and white and sort of looks like a coloring book. i'm guessing you made it from your own pattern. i really love the style of it! really amazing job!

Thank you! Yeah, I wore a little shrug that had a waistline that exacted in size and place of the dress's so as not to offend  Wink

I used the Simplicity 4070 bodice pieces that I altered to be shorter and just added a waistline and a ruffled skirt. Very simple, really.
