Simple Flannel Baby Quilt

So, I made this quilt for my baby boy (Due April 17th).  I had made a similar one for my daughter when she was born, and decided my son would need one too.  I used flannel scraps from my stash, plus some remnants I picked up.  The back is a plaid flannel that I had tons of (because I bought it for $1.00 a yard at one point).  It matches the nursery, which is aqua blue.

I kept it very simple, so it was a 2 evening project.

It is crib size- about 3 x 4 feet.

I really like it! I bet he'll love laying on it and looking at the colors!

that's lovely, i've been wanting to try quilting (hence looking at the board for the first time ) but it seems like it will take AGES to make anything, now i'm inspired. your new baby will be a very lucky boy, congratulations!
