Im only on row 3!

So, I've made the first 21 sc, then sc twice in the back of the next stitch (stitch 22), sc2tog throws me off completely. If I sc into the next stitch, that wont leave me with anymore stitches to crochet into? What do I do now?

Okay, nevermind, when you do the sc2tog, you do the first in the last loop row below, then the next goes into the chain you still have hanging (the 23 or so stitches you haven't sc'd into).

Not sure if that makes sense.

But then where do the 50 sts come from? There's 23 on top, and 23 on the bottom. That's 46. Four stitches are missing.

In row 3, after doing 21 stitches on that top row, you're doing 2 sc into one loop next(stitches 22 and 23), so that gives you another stitch, up to 47. Then there's also the sc2tog next (stitches 24 and 25), which brings you to 49.

Ok, I'm not making this or anything, but I did go to knithappens.com to look at the pattern errors (on the right side of the page). It doesn't look like there are any errors on row 3, but there are on row 4. So if you didn't know that already, I just wanted to warn you once you do get row 3 figured out. Sorry, hopefully this post isn't totally useless...
Let me know if you find that last stitch for the 50 stitches on row 3 for when I finally make the pattern.
