I'm having a party next Sunday, it's gong to be a teddy bear's picnic. I'm trying to think of some activities that me and my friends could do. I've tried looking it up on the internet, but I'm turning 14, so most of the stuff I've found doesn't sound like it'll work.

So far, I've decided that we'll play twister, a variation of pin the tail on the donkey and we'll watch Tomb Raider. I the weather is good, we'll also go to the park and play bocce (lawn bowls) and whatever else we can do at the park.

Does anyone have any ideas for teddy bear themed games or activities?

Oh, and I'm considering asking people to come in disguise.

It sounds like you have a lot of fun activities planned... I think the thing you might be missing from them is the Teddy Bear Picnic connection.

Did you decide on that theme based on some kind of paper party plates? Or some story you liked?

Maybe you could have cake and other things served out on the floor (or if you're in a warm enough place outdoors) with a red and white checkered tablecloth to sit on? Make the indoors seem more like it's outside, so you yourselves are having the picnic?

It's hard to think of bear-related games and activities that 14 year olds would also be excited about... I'd say have each guest bring their own favorite bear, but you may feel your guests are too old for that, I don't know your group. Having everyone Build-a-Bear would also be fun, but that would require a car-trip.

Bear related movies to show could be:
--The Bear (very cute live action film)
--Brother Bear

You possibly could try to have each guest craft a bear using something like Sculpy...

I hope you're able to work it out. This was a tough one.

Happy Birthday!
