Hello Everyone,
Here are a few pictures of the fish costume that I finally got finished.

The head was made a while ago, but I couldn't figure out how to finish the outfit off, so thanks to crafters I went with fish pajamas.

Now let's just hope he doesn't change his mind. I'm also on the look out for as many costume, trick or treat parties as I can find, just so he can get some major use out of this baby!

Help, my kid's being eaten by a fish . . .

Happy Halloween!

Hey,
Thanks! The fish mouth opens and he can see from there. The fabric choices are the only "original" element, I'm afraid. I used a McCall's pattern, this season. I can post the number if any one is interested.
Take care,

Hi,
The fish costume I made was actually a McCall's costume pattern. I forget the number, but the pattern's picture has a few children weaing the fish on their shoulders with coordinating leotards, tights, skirts/short, etc. I hadn't seen the cat bed, but they look remarkably similar. Is it a pattern company conspiracy or what? It does seem like a good way to get more use out of it, too bad we don't have a cat. . .
Take care,

oh man... thats the coolest costume! You did an awesome job! I love the fabrics you used, especially the gold.
That whole costume/cat bed conspiracy is crazy. but... it kinda makes sense.

It's soo beautiful!  After your son outgrows it, you could give it to a kitty cat to use as a hide-out!

holy crap lmao that is hillarious!  It must've taken forever!!  You must have great dedication.  I was going to make a big fish body suit type thing kindof like that for my friend for a costume as a girl off of an anime show called "Magical Play" but then we decided since the girl i was going to be hardly wore any clothes that we wouldn't dress up like them..  Cheesy
