Oh, yeah, Spring Break.  I wish I was still on mine!  I got the stuff I needed to start mine.  I have a couple of free days and the weekend to work.  I had an exam today worth 1/5 of my final grade in art history so I was busy studying for that before now.

I wonder who it was :O

T'was me  Undecided  Definetly not trying to discourage or show off.. This is my 4th day in a row of not working (Spring Break) and I've been so bored!

I just found out I can send him care packages (as long as they are smaller than a shoe box) i heard fort "lost in the woods" (leonard wood to those of you who didnt knoe it) was laid back, but this is wonderful! I wanted to make him something to hold his razors in (technically a hygene product right?) and I made a toilet bag out pockets from old bdu's (old camo, not the new ugly digitcal camo) and make some army embroidery on it along with his initials. will i get him in trouble with that?

I also crocheted a black pocket with a button closure to put all those pictures I sent him in. I am trying to keep my gifts practical...

I wasn't sure, so I asked Jeeves...
Victory Tower, an apparatus designed to complement basic combat training, is used to reinforce the skills and confidence of the individual soldier.
I could be wrong, but I think it's the wooden thing that they climb up with a rope. There's maybe 2 soldiers at the top to help out and encourage the climbers. And then once they're on top, they climb/  jump down on the other side.
The hubby brought home a DVD from basic that showed a bunch of their training- that thing was on it too.

I loved Victory Tower!  It is a huge wood tower.  You climb up one side on cargo nets (some have just regular straight ropes)  Once you are up there you get bundled up and most have either a slide for life on one side or a rapelling side to get back down.
