I know that's a big area to cover but I thought I'd give it a shot anyway.  I'm in San Angelo.

I'm in Eastern New Mexico...only 10 minutes away from the Texas border!  Smiley  So that almost counts, right?  I'm 100 miles from Lubbock.  Smiley

Hey! I went to school at good old ENMU. Are you that Eastern NM? I'm in Texas now. Midland/Odessa area.

I know Amarillo isn't really West Texas but it is as close there as anywhere.

amarillo is west texas. there's no such thing as north texas, if you ask me. there's west texas, east texas and southeast texas. i don't even really think there's a central. well, maybe there's a central. sort of. abilene looks like it's in central texas, but it's a dad blurn west texas down, dad blurnit.

Any West Texas crafters still out there?  I'm in Alpine.  Definitely one of the worst places I've lived in as far as availability of crafting supplies goes!

Anyone in San Antonio or near there?

Theres a bead and jewelry show coming up in San Antonio and I was wanting to do it but cant afford 2 8' tables alone ($450 for 2 8' tables and a 10x10 space) so I was thinking if someone wanted to split it with me..... Wink

Let me know please!!

Kimberly_Star - I almost went to Sul-Ross... But didn't because Alpine was pretty deserted, I know what you mean!

ladymare:  Yeah, I just started classes at Sul Ross last week.  Trying to finish up my bachelor's degree.  I can't believe that none of my classes have over 15 people in them!  Augh!  It drives me crazy.  (But, the parking situation is much better than it was at A&M-Kingsville!)

ha ha ha I can't imagine parking would be a bit more... available... LOL!! I went to Tarleton, in Stephenville. What are you going to Sul Ross for?

Elementary Education (Pre-K through 4th grade).  I'm currently the Deputy Chief Appraiser for the county, which is a great job, but not what I want to do.  So, I decided to join the 18-year-olds in college while working.  It's going to be fun... Roll Eyes

What did you go to Tarleton for?

Equine Production. Another reason I decided on TSU was that the girls in the horse program at Sul Ross seemed sooooo snotty!! lol.

I agree.  I think some of them are the worst people on the face of the earth.  (I can't say that for all of them, though as the one in my statistics class is really a nice person!)

Hey everyone! I'm a crocheter who grew up in Odessa, moved to Hobbs NM for 7 years and just moved back home to Texas-Midland, specifically. Trying to find a couple craftsters who'd be interested in getting together to swap ideas, show off projects, help keep each other motivated, and generally hang out once a week or every couple of weeks...Anyone interested???

*Gah! This sounds so much like a bad personals ad....LOL!*

I started making chain mail jewelry in June 2011, and started my own company, Incendia Designs, in August 2011. I also crochet, act, sew (a little) and am enjoying being a newlywed!
