I have a whole ADC map book of DC that I scavenged out of the recycle bin, plus more AAA maps than I can shake a stick at in my car...  I wish I was still living near DC, because the american history museum used to sell grab bags of used stamps in the gift shop. And I seem to recall there being mail order stamp things for kids (this was about 20 years ago), where you could get cancelled stamp bags on various themes - I had the "cats and dogs" set and the "space/astronaut" set.  These had maybe 100 or so stamps in them, not like the little baggies they have at hobby lobby with a dozen.

BTW, for anyone who loves maps, the USGS has a store with extremely inexpensive, large, color maps:
http://store.usgs.gov. They also have some big science posters and historical maps - I have the 1562 Gutierrez map of the Americas, which is huge and fantastic, with cannibals and Patagonian giants  Smiley But seriously, they have maps of *everything* (from scale maps to seismicity maps to presidental election maps to maps of other planets), and most poster sized maps are $10 or less. NAYY.
