Here are my takes on the Hot Head hat from SnB (done last winter - can't remember what type of yarn was used), and the windy city scarf, which is made with Lamb's Pride Bulky in Chianti and Raspberry (to go with my new corduroy coat!)...

Yeah, Yahoo's GeoCities is fickle. Oftentimes when you upload a few photos, it tells you that you have exceeded your data transfer allocation for a certain time period and makes your site unavailable for up to several hours...

Ah well... Check back if you have a chance!

I just made my version of the hothead scarf (which, because I was too lazy to do a guage swatch, is a little shorter than I think it should be, but ultimately turned out fairly ok) and want to make the Windy City scarf to match.  Was it easy to make?  I can't get my head around the keyhold in the scarf....

loller, once you get to the keyhole it will make sense to you.  Essentially you are knitting one scarf, then for awhile you are knitting two skinny scarves at once, each from a different ball of yarn, then you are knitting just the one again.   It's like the first time you turn a sock heel.  It doesn't make sense until you do it.
